It’s good to know what you’re capable of – even if it literally means walking straight up the side of a mountain, only to discover that there had been a set of switchbacks buried under the overgrowth RIGHT THERE for years. I could be thoroughly irritated that I’ve spent years walking up vertical mountain road that was never meant for foot traffic when there was a very doable trail right there, but honestly, I’m psyched because now it only takes me 13 minutes to get to the top – it used to take about an hour and a half.
39 will be fun.
